An honest guide to choosing CCNA 200-301 preparation — no hype, just what works
Ask anyone who's passed the 200-301 and they'll tell you the same thing: it wasn't the video course alone. It was practice under exam conditions — timed questions, realistic wording, and hands-on labs. Here's how to judge any prep product:
| What to check | NetExam Pro | Typical premium simulators | Free question sites |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exam-style question bank | 370 questions, 200-301 weighted | Large banks | Small, often outdated |
| Timed full-length mocks | Yes | Yes | Rarely |
| Explanations per question | Full written explanations | Usually yes | Often missing |
| CLI labs | 20 in-browser labs | Varies | No |
| Flashcards | 300 included | Sometimes | No |
| Free trial | 25-question timed test, no card | Limited demos | Free but thin |
| Pricing model | £29 one-time or £5/month | Often subscription-only at higher tiers | Free |
